JEANNETTE ROMEU aka "GALAXY GIRL"

Jeannette Romeu is fifth generation of a legendary musical family, The Romeu
Family.
Jeannette started classical piano lessons at age three, wrote her first
music composition at the early age of four. Her music teachers always said
that Jeannette was extremely talented for having the gift of "perfect pitch"
. At age five Jeannette acted and sang on television, a show in which her
grandmother Zenaida Romeu was the musical producer and Director. For a few
years Jeannette recorded many different songs that were televise every
week.
Her great uncle Antonio Maria Romeu created "Danzon", a style of
sophisticated music that is very well known and will forever continue to
be enjoyed. He and his brother Armando Romeu together they invented the
"Piano Roll " before records were created.
Jeannette grew up listening to her father Armando de Sequeira Romeu, who is
a Jazz pianist, bass and drum artist who was drumming in the times for
Legendary , "Unforgettable" Nat King Cole ; he was also founder of Latin
Jazz World group "Irakere.
At the same time, her uncle, Armando Romeu Jr. was the orchestra conductor
for world wide famous shows of "Tropicana Club" in Havana, Cuba" .Today
Jeannette's uncle, Gonzalo Romeu conducts the Symphony Orchestra of Mexico
City .Her aunt , Zenaida Romeu also conducts an all women Chamber Orchestra,
"Camarata Romeu" who at one time also directed the music of world famous
French composer Michelle Le Grand.
Jeannette attended exclusively advanced Russian Music Conservatories and
studied Classical Piano all throughout her childhood in Havana, Cuba and
later in Madrid, Spain and Paris, France.
At an early age, Jeannette's father a practicing yogi, gave Jeannette a
deeper and a more diplomatic and majestic vision of the World. These
times opened her senses. Her father guidance brought her to a higher level
of understanding and consciousness in how to use her talents and about what
her talents can do .Through her music writings Jeannette began bringing
out spiritual feelings from far, far away places.
Through the growth and changes of her life Jeannette has become a music
ambassador, an important and positive message that only she will deliver
through the magic she creates.
Since everything that's done is only done with her own her hands and her
alone. She has been called "THE CONDUCTOR OF MUSIC OF THE FUTURE" ,"The
Voice of the Future", a prolific and genuine talent.
Jeannette has countless music videos which have not been released to the
public, but yet, they are in high demand, specially her "LIVE
PERFORMANCES".
Jeannette will be the host for "DANCE MUSIC WORLDWIDE", a TV show that will
bring artists from around the world who have done it all : writing ,
recording and performing on their own just as what The "Galaxy Girl " is
being doing. All of Jeannette's videos has been supported by her friends
and fans : Veronica Milchorena, Jason and Betsy Swink , Wetair.com and
others.
Another child of a yogi is Deryck Ragoonanan who is a big fan of hers ,
has dedicated his support by creating a "Flash" web site : GALAXYGIRL.TV
which has been touted as one of the best Flash sites ever. He also offers
his talents with her as a superb Sound and Recording engineer.
Jeannette's projects are strictly supported by a grass roots movement .
Many including the president of Atlantic Records, Ahmet Ertegun, the man
responsible for bringing Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton etc. to the U.S. along
with the most famous producer in the world, Thomas Dowd who's recordings of
Eric Clapton, Ray Charles , Aretha,Franklin, The Bee Gee's and many more
have said :

Jeannette cherishes the time when she worked with Tom Dowd on many of her
songs.
Today Jeannette aka "Galaxy Girl" enjoys running her own Company and
Digital Recording Studio where she also helps other artists who need the
support and encouragement.
"Galaxy Girl Underground " is a very busy place with many inquiries mainly
concerning her
music. Presently her work is being transmitted from Miami's radio station: "
Ten Southbeach " to fifty eight different frequencies in eleven different
countries including Argentina, Panama, Columbia, Venezuela, Peru and others
, making her music" Top Three" all over South America and growing.
Jeannette is now finishing another visionary project , her latest CD :
"TRANCEATLANTIC LOVE" which she's been successfully touring in The U S A
for the past year . "Galaxy Girl" is " THE FIRST LIVE TECHNO MUSIC
EXTRAVAGANZA " with all the jewels of glitter and glitz.
