Coolworld would like to thank the capacity crowd who attended this year’s Planet New Year @ The Cow Palace, making it a huge success!  PNY03 gave refuge to all music lovers and united people from all walks of life, religions, cultures, and creeds!  Making the Planet New Year celebration one of the most diverse multi cultural events in America! We had an array of performances artists who traveled across the Planet to entertain and perform @ this year’s massive festival!

The Coolworld Mothership arena was full by 7:15pm with music lovers from everywhere wanting to catch Superstar DJ Paul Van Dyk’s first California festival appearance ever.  PVD opened the show with an amazing set, and took the crowd on an incredible musical journey that left them begging for more…His set was so intense, that he decided to thrill the crowd with a special 30 minute encore that was well accepted and we thank him for this!  Next up, Frank Nitty & Ghost from Housenation, kept the crowd moving & Wish FM changed it up with a special Drum N Bass set that was both melodic & hard.  America’s favorite DJ,  DJ Dan took the stage @ 10:15 to a capacity coliseum crowd took the event into full gear. 

Upcoming Electronic Rock group Planet B hit the stage next & the crowd erupted into a adrenalin filled frenzy as the magnetic & charismatic group rocked the crowd with there unique & original all live sound.  Planet B took the crowd into the New Year with a techno rock cover of the Beatle’s, “Come Together”& closed with a New Years Countdown & fireworks ceremony that was nothing less then amazing.  Donald Glaude kept the New Year spirit bang’n with his unique style of performance & turntablism & Christopher Lawrence closed the Mothership arena with such an incredible set that left the crowd cheering the whole way out.  Other arena’s, featured stellar sets by DJ Craze, who always impresses, DJ Huey, Mystre, Tom Slik, Dyloot St. John and many others. 

Coolworld would also like to thank everyone for coming together peacefully and keeping PNY03 positive & friendly atmosphere for all.  We can’t thank you enough for this…

Coolworld would like to extend its condolences to the families & friends of 2 individual’s  who passed away on New Years Day.  One of the two men was an up & coming DJ from Rohnert Park, CA., and the other young man was from Stockton, CA. They will both be missed.

Coolworld wants to thank all the people, the Cow Palace, the City of Daly City, the Daly City police department, Volume services & all the other groups, artists, & individuals that helped to make this festival happen.
